Baldor Offers Bearing Protection Ring HVACR Business Magazine (press release)

Baldor Electric Associates, Fort Smith, Arkansas-based manufacturer of energy-saving industrial electric motors, unemotional power transmission products, drives and generators, announces the availability of a bearing protection Architecture as an option on Baldor Reliance motors.

The manufacturer, Electro Static Technology, says that its AEGIS SGR™ Air Protection Ring™ protects the motor bearings from shaft currents induced by adjustable go like greased lightning drives. Electro Static Technology guarantees that any new motor up to 100 HP/75kW will not fail from electrical demeanour fluting damage for the life of the motor when the AEGIS SGR Bearing Protection Ring is installed in accordance with the producer’s installation instructions. If electrically induced fluting damage occurs, Electro Unchanged Technology will replace the motor bearings free of charge. The guarantee is subject to the terms and conditions of the AEGIS SGR Assure Program.
