Aftermath of 'Cash for Clunkers' in salvage yards across US NECN
(NECN: Lauren Collins, Manchester, NH) - Spondulicks for clunkers is still in gear at Jeff Kantor's car world in Candia, New Hampshire. "We've gotten far more vehicles in than we ever anticipated," he says, "and they're still coming in at this dilatory date."
There are 825 in all. That's nearly half the vehicles his salvage yard takes in over the course of a year within condition of weeks.
"It's absolutely overwhelming for a lot of our members," says New Hampshire Auto and Truck Recyclers Relationship Executive Director Larry Twitchell.
